Of course, I like to joke about Friday the 13th “Look both ways before crossing the street.”

My Friday the 13th was very uneventful until I put my USB key into my computer. INSTANTLY, both monitors went blank and I knew that something very bad had happened. It was just a question of how bad.

There must have been a spark on my USB key because the motherboard on my computer was fried along with the processor and the memory. Fortunately, the data on my disk drives was fine.

Just a reminder that it can happen at anytime – so backup your computer today.
